How P.A.W.W Plans To Give Back to the Community!
I first want to start with my local community. I am trying to encourage my fellow students to save just .25¢ per week during the four week campaign (Apr. 11-May 11).
25¢ per week x 4 weeks = $1.00. 20,000 students x $1.00 = $20,000 raised
50¢ per week x 4 weeks= $2.00. 20,000 students x $2.00 = $40,000 raised
1$ per week x 4 weeks= $4.00. 20,000 students x $4.00 = $80,000 raised
P.A.W.W wants to go to ALL 50 states in the United States and visit the most populated animal shelters in that state. P.A.W.W wants to host adoption events with the shelters to promote animal adoption. P.A.W.W will also donate to the animals in the shelters. P.A.W.W wants to buy the animals blankets, toys, treats, medicines, collars, leashes, and etc. to the community.
If P.A.W.W can reach its' goal, we will give back to the community of Memphis in four different ways:
1. P.A.W.W will offer a scholarship to a returning U of M student
2. Offer a scholarship to any graduating high school seniors who plan on attending University of Memphis in the Fall 2019 semester.
3. P.A.W.W will donate to the fraternity or sorority that raises the most money.
4. P.A.W.W also want to donate to the student organization that raises the most money.
If the stretch goal of $20,000 is reached, P.A.W.W will throw a picnic and a concert that would be free to the U of M students.
